Show upload progress so people don't think the file upload is stuck.

Show how much of a task has been completedA progress indicator helps people understand the state of an upload, installation, or multi-step task. Use a percentage when the total is known; otherwise show ongoing activity without pretending to know the finish time. State success, failure, and cancellation clearly.

You can say this to an AI Agent

Use real uploaded-byte events to update Progress, showing percentage or size and retaining a retry state for network failure. Upload a test file and interrupt it once; confirm progress follows real events and failure is never shown as complete.

Progress≠Spinner

Progress uses a track to show overall completion and can show a percentage when it is measurable. Spinner usually marks a brief local wait with no known completion ratio.

Progress≠Steps

Progress shows continuous completion. Steps names the stages so people know where they are in a process.
