Message Consumer
The message was sent, but the queue keeps growing. Check whether a consumer is receiving, processing, and acknowledging the messages.
Publishing succeeds, but no application consumes messages.
Locate the source of buildup: The producer only sends a message to the queue. If no consumer is running, or consumers are slower than publishing, messages keep accumulating.
Acknowledge after processing: The consumer runs the handler and acknowledges success. On failure, the system can redeliver or record the failure under its rules instead of pretending the work finished.
Judge improvement by evidence: A simulated message should show publish, delivery, processing, and result feedback in logs or status, while buildup falls. A consumer is not the queue; one application can also publish.
You can say this to an AI Agent
“Inspect the consumer for this message queue: confirm it starts and keeps receiving messages, reports successful processing, and requeues or records failures instead of silently losing them. Simulate one message and verify the full path from publish to delivery, processing, and result feedback.
