React
People keep saying to use React for websites. What's better about it than writing the page directly?
const [count, setCount] = useState(0)<button onClick={() => setCount(count + 1)}> Added {count} item(s)</button>The button reads count. When count changes, React updates this button text with the new value.
A component is an interface piece that accepts inputs: Buttons and cards can be separate components. Components receive external parameters (Props, like title or price) to control content, allowing the same UI structure to be reused across pages.
State holds the current value: A click changes a counter from 0 to 1; state is what this part should show now.
React recalculates the view: React recalculates the related component and the renderer updates the needed DOM.
You can say this to an AI Agent
Make the product card, top badge, and checkout summary read quantity from one cart state rather than editing DOM nodes. Update all three together, define persistence separately, and refresh to verify saved data.
Select page elements for precise AI edits
Click a button, text, or card, note the change, then copy its exact location to AI.
